If you need to deal with many apps everyday, all kind of windows will populate your screen and overlap one over another, in a chaotic way. Workspaces help to clean up messy desktops, but still, what if you would like to organize windows quickly and neatly? moving and tweaking windows manually is tedious, slow and imprecise.

Would'nt be nice, to click an app in your Dock and choose the way how windows tile on-screen? WindowTile allows you to position windows where you want them to be and…compare two windows side by side.

Usage

just click WindowTile and choose one of many options to place windows:

- top, bottom

- left, right

- big left, big right

- corner top left, corner top right

- corner bottom left, corner bottom right,

- in the middle, full-width and height

- rotate windows, compare windows

Installation

1. unzip WindowTile.zip and

2. create a folder in your home directory with name Applications. Then put WindowTile in there

3. drag WindowTile.app in your Dock - that is by default, the app bar at the bottom of your screen.

4. launch WindowTile and say yes to eventual permission requests, to autorize WindowTile, otherwise WindowTile won't work correctly.

Now tidy up any windows chaos!
