Commonly, you've to move your cursor up to the menubar and find your applescript.

This is a very manual, very repetitive and tedious way to activate scripts, especially if you need scripts quickly and on a regular basis.

Wouldn't be simpler to launch any script from your Dock? here we go. FireScripts gives you the power, to fire applescripts directly from your Dock, immediately.

In addition, you can run scheduled scripts. All you need to do is to select one of your scripts and decide when to run your scripts automatically: in minutes, hours, days or all times.


Quick access to edit Applescripts

At the bottom of your scripts list, you can choose to open Apple's main scripts folder or run your favorite script editor

Routine scripts

run scheduled scripts, see the example scripts atteched to your download of FireScripts. You'll find a Routine folder with example scripts to use as scheduled scripts. Once scheduled, these scripts will repeat in regular intervals. To set a new scheduled Routine, just scroll at the bottom of any list of Firescript, choose "Routine scripts" and follow the instructions.


Usage

For this example, let's use Apple's Keynote.app to launch applescripts for a presentation.

1. launch Keynote

2. launch FireScripts.

3. If you've scripts for Keynote in Apple's Script folder, a list will appear. Otherwise Firescript opens the Apple's Script folder for you!

4. With your list for Keynote open, select any script by typing in "B" or any other letter to jump quickly to any scripts beginning with that initial.

5. with the script highlighted, press enter to fire your scripts!


Installation

1. unzip FireScripts.zip and

2. create a folder in your home directory with name Applications.

3. put FireScripts in that folder, then drag FireScripts.app in your Dock - that is by default, the app bar at the bottom of your screen.

4. launch FireScripts and say yes to all permission requests to autorize FireScripts, otherwise FireScripts won't work correctly.
