Dune-Gold is a theme and feature upgrade for Obsidian;a Personal Knowledge Management App also known as "Second Brain". In short, it's your personal note taking tool.

The daylight palette of Dune-Gold comes with a warm wood - sand - rosé -tint. The nighttime palette instead, presents itself with a fresh, dusk - midnight - blacky tint.

But wait, Dune-Gold is much more than just a pretty color play, because it's packed with additional features to give you an extra edge! work more productive thanks to Dune's features, check out some of them:

Installation

1. First, install and activateStyle Settings from Obsidians community plugins.

2. Next, to install Dune-Gold, open your Vault folder in your file navigator. Check the settings of your file navigator to Show invisible files. (If you are on a Mac, press Command + Shift + Period)

3. An invisible folder with name '.obsidian' will appear.

4. Now, enter in '.obsidian' and check if there is a 'themes' folder. If there isn't any folder of this name, create 'themes' and move your unzipped Dune-Gold-folder inside.

If you want to installDune-Golds's snippets as well,create yet another folder inside '.obsidian' and name that folder 'snippets', if this folder is missing. Move the snippets (ending with css) inside 'snippets'.

Usage

After installation, quit and relaunch Obsidian.

With Obsidian running, open Settings, navigate to the bottom of the left column and click on "Style Settings." In there you'll find Dune-Gold's preferences.

Alternatively, (I highly recommend this alternative) open the command palette in Obsidian with ctrl+P (Linux-Win) or cmd+P (Mac) and type 'Style Settings', then confirm the suggested output.

A new note with Style Settings will open. At this point, drag the tab of this window in the left or right side dock next to your other panels in Obsidian.

About updates

Bugfix releases, eg. 2.5.0 to 2.99 are free to download. For any major upgrades, eg. from 2.5.0 to 3.0 will be available for a discount.
